oplease help me select monitors on a budget

I'm thinking tannoy reveal, spirit absolute 2, M-audio BX... in this league. If you think I really should get better ones please tell me. I'm using a 16 bit multitracker (AKAI DR-8).

Didn't say what your budget was...
I like the yorkee's myself, or the m-audio BX 8's are nice too.
Or, the KRK series I've also tried...... the 6's and 8's performance is descent.

The Event Tr-8 XL's Kick butt (so do the TR-8's and TR-5's).

well. aroudn 400,- for the pair. Heard good things about the KRK's too... Like everybody was raving about the Yorksville's last year... (so arer monitors getting better by the year or is it a hype?)
