Opinions?

Hi folks. I'd like to get your opinions on 2 pieces of music. Any constructive criticism is welcome. This first is a darker, heavier piece and the second is mellower. I've asked for thoughts on it before, but I've since tinkered with levels and mixing. The second is new. myspace.com/mullecular

Shadow world it's dark indeed! If that's the mood you expected to create...you nailed it. Find it a bit repetitive for an 14+ mins piece, expected there to be more texture variations and tempo changes, but nevertheless, great instrumental performance.
Made me feel like in a dark forest surrounded by all kinds of creatures trying to run away from them!

Rise is lighter, but sad!? They both have a distinctive mood, sorrow, misery, can't describe it, just sad; not your performance, but the way they made me feel.

Strong songs, not for the light hearted.

I feel sad now:rolleyes::o

Well recorded and mixed IMO.
 
Thanks man. It's 11:33, but I couldnt really cut anything. Thanks for listening. The moods....I dont think I was really going for anything. I just make what comes out. I've added a few vocals to "Rise" so you may wanna check it out again sometime. I really appreciate your crtique and opinion. If you have a Myspace, shoot me an add. Thanks
