opinions?

Probably a little less of the hard panning between the two intro guitars.
Good ideas well captured. Nice playing & mostly great guitar sounds (sounds like real guitars).
Can't help myself though - the melodies are pretty good but it really could use a vocal line like the ones Howard Devotot did with Magazine (esp Shot By Both Sides) to add some weight & abstraction.
Oh, the stuff at 2.30 didn't do the rest of the piece any favours at all - it became really cliched for a while things are better again at 3.00.
 
That intro is fierce, cool start.
Nice slowdown afterward... bass sounds decent, maybe a bit muddy. Clean tone is nice.
Then the song explodes again, very cool.
This is very cool, but as rayc said could use some vox. I write a lot of instrumentals and just the feel and structure to this song sounds like it was written for vocals. So I guess I'd recommend having another guitar or instrument during the slow section playing a "vocal" melody. I just get that feel during those parts though...
At 3:07, perhaps the rhythm guitars overtake the lead guitar too much... I'd lower the rhythm there a bit.

thanks very much for the opinions guys, the song was initially written with the intention of adding vocals, I just havn't written a set of lyrics I'm happy with yet, but if I ever get around to it i'll post up the finished results.
