yeah i remember trying one of those about 10 er 12 years ago, it did rock!!!!, it was a schecter strat (don't know if they make other styles),,,,,,man i've had de old hamer shaperals 84's 85's,,usa strats with jeff beck pickups in dem, strats with da EMGs,,put together strats with warmoth parts, i built my own strat (the inlays were all crooked, lol but da git stayed in tune as long as the nut was clean)
and i can tell u,,,,that schecters r a good guitar!!!! barnone.....but remember that every guitar company has it's lemons. it's pressouts, and it's gems (just like the G&L tele i tried out the other day),,,,if u find one that feels good 2 u,,,then ask a friend to check it out too,,,,,,,,remember even a cheap guitar with a bone nut, and a good seymour dunken er EMG pickup put into it,,,can rock!!! spend some time choosing, feel yer gut, if u get a feeling thats enharmonic to a wornout clutch,,,go fer some lunch, or sleep on it,a big price tag doesn't always mean a great guitar,,,,but then again, quality never comes cheap (unless yer my cousin joe and u just bought a piece of my gear lol)good luck,,,,,,,,peace
