I guess I'm one of the very few that like it. I used a version long ago (before Acid existed) and got used to it then. So long as you have a good mouse I think it's great. It does what I want it to do, and I feel like I have more control than with Acid. To me, Acid is less natural, but that's probably because I'd already gotten used to Magix. I'm sure Acid's loops are better quality, but I never use canned loops anyway, I make my own. I have both and I only use Magix.
I only use Magix for looping. It's easiest for me to work with. After I've got the loops arranged and mixed, I usually bring it into a multi-track program (Cakewalk PA9) for vocals and any non-looped stuff.
