opinions on layla 3G

I've been looking at what my new interface purchase should be and had all but settled on the delta 1010, when I just got an opportunity to possibly pick up on of these 3G units locally for about the same price.

I've heard that earlier verisons of the layla rack units have had some compatability issues, anyohneworked with this, have any opinions?

I have one of these in my rack and love it! Preamps are decent, and it has an ADAT port incase you want to add other stuff. The Layla 3G is great so long as you have a PCI slot to spare and don't plan on switching to a laptop any time soon.

I can't speak of the Layla, but their MIA card is great. Overall, my perception of Echo is that they are a great company that puts out great products at a fair price.
