I'm using Pro Tools LE w/Digi 001, but I have another mac with OS X loaded with Peak. Just wondering how you guys think it compares to other 2 track/stereo editors since I am too poor to go buy several.. I was also thinking about buying Ozone to use with it. I have been using T-racks 24 after editing with Peak to "self-master" (I know, it's like hiring a fool for an Engineer). :)

Tried it and was not impressed.

I would stick with Pro Tools for the processing part of mastering, then find software to burn the CDs with. Professional CD burning software is a bit scarce on Mac OS/X. You may want to even go the Windows route for burning.

There are a number of CD burning options for the Mac.

I own Peak and finally got fed up with it and the expensive upgrades. What I'm using now is a program called DSP Quattro. It's excellent, and you can burn CD's right in DSP Quattro. I also own Toast/Jam and use them as well. A good combination would be Toast/Jam and DSP Quattro.

Can DSP Quattro or Toast/Jam perform full PQ editing and handle ISRC codes?

My preferred combination is Toast/Jam and a fresh cup of coffee w/extra cream, no sugar.

Sorry Al, couldn't let that one go :)
