Opinions for our songs?

Howdy,

A friend and I are working on making a demo cd for a band we started a short time ago called 'Faces Fade'

we could really use some constructive critiscism about any aspects of the recordings that spring to mind (mixing levels, EQ, sound quality etc).


Yes, the drums are sequenced electronically, as we're without a drummer at the moment, but i've tried to make them as realistic as possible, so any thoughts on how to improve this would definitely help.

Keeping in mind everyones taste is different I'll offer my thoughts. Bass guitar sounded more like a rumble than distinctive notes.... maybe I'm hearing the bass drum over the bass guitar? The vocals seemed not gritty enough for the music although the harmony sections were good and good during the change up. Other than my meager opinion the tune was hard driving and in your face and thats a plus. Thanks for the listen.
