man, the bullsh*t just doesn't stop.
the drummer we had been using. his main band (they do shows 3 nights a week every week) is one of the best straight go-go bands in DC. if you know anything at all about DC Go-Go then you will guess this band in 2 tries.
anyway, this same drummer who threw a monkey wrench into our show.
this same drummer who refused to play and had to be talked into going on stage.
is part of an All-Star DC Go-Go band that is opening up for 50 when he comes to DC. Ras Lidj was not aware of that before he asked the drummer to run with us last weekend.
sometimes it rains because the sky is full of clouds, and sometimes a mu-f*cka is pissin' on yo head kid.
