I've been talking to a number of well known rappers lately and have been organizing collabs with them for my upcoming mixtape 'Ahead Of My Time'. As you know, these days nothing like this comes for free though i have discussed prices with these rappers and got them down to a lowest price as possible.

Basically i'm looking for people that are willing to go halves in the price with me. So we will both feature on the track.

So far the mixtape is being hosted by Jae Millz and features PostaBoy and SunN.Y.

The following artists that are willing to collab include...

Kool G Rap
Daz Dillinger
Sly Boogy
40 Cal
Crooked I
Rass Kass
Skillz
Red Cafe
Killah Priest

The prices the artists have giving me range from $500-$750.

So you'll be looking at paying around $250-$375.

Though if we can find more people to pay for a certain collab, we could go thirds or quarters in the price ($125-$180).

I hope that all made sense, please reply if your interested as this WILL benefit your career.

Any questions, feel free to ask.
ummm... let me get this straight. dude wants [me] on a track to split the costs of getting some big name on it. I pay to be on dude's track?!? what do i get out of this again? lol. doesn't sound like too good of an offer.

just letting you all know this is a live show..

Looking for artist for mixtape and radio show!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What the deal this is Ad-vice the host of The Underground Spotlight. I'm opening up the lines of communication once again to blaze the Spring Quater with a hot new mixtape. I'm looking for artist on here to liven it up and the songs will be played on my live broadcast on 89.7 KLAS Los Angeles. If you don't know about my show then you are definetly sleeping because it's gaining a lot of momentum now that I've gone live on the air. So if you want to be apart of this there a few but easy to follow rules. You must have your material Edited so I can play them on the show and put them on the mixtape. This will make it a hell of a lot easier for you to get exposure because then your song can be played anywhere. You must send the material to theundergroundspotlight@verizon.net with "music for radio show/mixtape" in the subject line. The music must be HOT! because I'm not charging you to be on the mixtape. If any of you have been in the game long enough I'm sure you've been offered an oppurtunity to be on some big DJ's mixtape for a nice sum of cash. With this I'm just giving you an oppurtunity for absolutely free. What do I get in return might you ask? Well exposure for my show and my music as well so we all benefit in the long run. If you have any questions feel free to ask.

anybody know where or how i can go about trying to sell beats to video game companies? if so i would appreciate it

you don't won't to sell your beats..you want to license your tracks/beats the them..their is a big difference..

SEEKING HIP HOP & RAP MUSIC FOR UPCOMING DVD RELEASE

Posted: Thu Mar 15, 2007 11:26 am

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Falconskates released a full length skateboarding film last year titled "Call to Fly" (with pro skateboarder Todd Falcon).

This year, we are about to release a new skate DVD titled "No Logic" and are looking to license some HIP HOP and RAP music.

We can offer artist credit on the dvd including, song title, and give reference to any/all pertinent web-sites (as well as MySpace) including the record label within the credits of the DVD.

It is also a possibility we may list the song on screen when the song appears (sorta MTV style) but that has not yet been finalized.

There is no monetary compensation for this offer, but having your song in the soundtrack will be some good exposure and credit.

If you would like to submit a CD, please email falconskatesmgr@yahoo.com and we will give you the mailing address.

Our websites are:

www.calltofly.com (site for last year's film)
www.toddfalcon.com (pro skateboarder Todd Falcon)
www.falconskates.com (company website)
