to post a link is cool - though, next time specify the song you want to be listened..

I listened a few.. what is an original there? I mean homerecorded by you?

Yeah, they are home recorded. Thats why its called a 'home recording BBS'.
The link was on the previous post. Which I believe you did read although you seem to have forgotten.
We play 'covers' that means, we do songs that other people have written, otherwise we would be an 'originals' band who do original material.
The point of a home recording site is to comment on home recording, not on material although good on those who write their own its not something I can do so will generally say if I think something's good.
I'll be sure to check out some of your home penned gems and try to be just as constructive

Thanks

Well.....you've definitely got that fucking Brit attitude down! Good job on that!

thanks for explaining me whatis homerec.. maybe I forgot that (ugh)

..but the stupid reason is that I listened to the songs, and without k´nowing them I thought they where originals just remixed - my fault - but in the same time that must mean that you did an outstanding job!

Damn...you boys rock! I love that DO I DO! I have a slow ass connection (56K) so I have to listen at 24kbps and that shit still sounds clean. I can't imagine how good it might sound at 128kbps or 320kbps. You say this is a live performance?! What'd you use to record it?

Also, what do you play in the band? For some reason, this sound just really surprises me coming from the UK. I don't know why, but I have never invisioned a British cover band playing disco and soul covers from the 70's!

Great job....I am actually gonna take the time to DL this song. I will check some of your other stuff out and let you know what I think.

Sorry 'bout the bad attitude. I guess I didn't consider that someone might not know the original track.
There are a a number of Brit bands that cover these tunes but its easy to fall into the popular miscionception that disco tunes are simple to cover.
What I was most pleased with was that this is a live mix by a mixture of DI's and mics, guess I was just lucky but other than changing a few levels I didn't need to do anything else. When I've recorded each instrument in seperately I end up EQing all over the place and the mixes always sound 'glassy' (Check out Thinking of You) I guesss i'm just not good at appreciating what I should be hearing for each component in isolation.
