Should a theif who has stolen peoples COPYRIGHTED material and blantently supplied links claiming it as his/her own be allowed on this site, where so many people post their work for feedback, assesment, and review?

If someone has been ripped off for their copyrighted material, then the copyright holder has a personal and/or legal issue with the person who ripped it off...

As for who is allowed on this site... Thats up to Dragon. He's the boss here.

If I had a choice in the matter, I wouln't want a person like you described around, but like I said, it's not really our decision who is and isn't allowed here..

If something like that is happening to you, through links you posted on this site... I would suggest you bring it to Dragon's attention, so he can make a decision..

Especially if he got paid for the infringement.Did this guy get any payment for his infringement....

You mean,"THERE's a law stating that one is not liable if he/she DOESN'T receive payment(in the form of record sales or otherwise) for the infringement.........."


This is a widely believed falsehood. One can still be sued even if he does not make a profit from the infringement, but what would be the point(they would just be a broke artist and a lawsuit would be senseless if there is no monetary gain involved).


Point is.......you can still be sued to HELL, you just wouldn't have enough money to make it halfway there!!!!!!!!!!!

Clown Posse did have a promo where they jacked 13 rappers beat and were not held liable because they didn't make a penny off the tracks.attilah.mr legal expert.maybe if you get yur facts str8 then maybe you'll post something decent and original for a change

I accidentally clicked on "Yes". I just want to clear that up, but I'd like to make it understandable that I did not intend to click "Yes". I intended to click "No". I beleive that someone that is, as bitch made as it is to steal a beat & try to get respect & credit from a bunch of people that he or she doesnt even know in reality. I'm also disappointed in such a way, that Atillah is whining about all this & not taking legal action. Bro, you paid for a copyright so it would protect you in a situation like this. So, why arent you using it? I wouldnt let someone take advantage of my work, hell naw. I just wanna say, take action before he does. Next thing, he'll have some bullshit story with a copyright trying to sue YOU.

By the way, DJ Fingas. I hope you know as a person, that you do need some guidance. A mind is a terrible thing to be misguided, I as a person am disappointed to see that because you dont have the heart to compose & work on your own. FWIW, I voted "yes."

I do not believe copyright infringement is correct, but:
- I take issue with censorship/banning.
- There are problems with policing such allegations.
- The issue is between the copyright holder and the infringer.
- People can choose to ignore whomever they want.

Should isolated people be banned? That's up to Dragon.
