One Of my clients songs RATE!

It sounds pretty good... not much to pay attention to... I think that guys D string is out of tune or something. Something is definately out of tune there. Quality wise, it doesn't sound bad though.

Forgot to rate... recording quality is 6.5/10 song quality 4
 
The guitars don't sound totally in tune with each other. The shaker track is in a huge hall while the rest of the mix is pretty dry.

The intro almost loses me...too long and dull.

In my opinion (I guess I have to say this) the thing is not a song at all. There is no magical moment that makes it all worthwhile. It's just a few things that sorta go together for what purpose we don't ever find out.

If I had to rate it I would give the recording a 5 of 10 and the tune a 3 out of 10.
 
I don't mind guitars out of tune w/ eachother slightly, but not good when out of tune strings are on one guitar, are they slack tuned? That could be it. Good start, guitars are also kind of midrangey, not bad if they are in a bigger mix, but as soloing acoustics, they could be more full. Recording is clear tho.
 
thanks for all the feedback... i do agree that the guitars are not tottaly in tune and it isnt a well but together song ....it is just a scratch recording this is not the well made version...this was just thrown together in ten minutes. just wanted to see what you guys thought thanks.

ps. once my band starts recording i will be posting that....we play hendrix and stevie which is always FUN!
 
Another thing, the guys playing guitar though they may be young, flat out sucked, all the equipment in the world wouldnt help that....
