Not only does it come with a shock mount, but a foam wind screen and a reasonably good aluminum flight case. It's a good deal because it's a workhorse mic, the peripherals are just nice. Fortunately, the shock mount also fits
my Rode NTK, which didn't come with one. Actually, I use C3, but the peripherals are the same.
BTW, I was recently doing a long distance overdub on a song by my partner in crime, Maureen Fleming, which was recorded on a U87. I tried NTK, which sounds great on my voice, and it sucked big time! My tube and her FET just did not go together. I switched to C3 and the two mics just meshed like 2 pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. Before anybody jumps down my throat, I am *not* saying the C3 is a U87 equivalent, just that if you're looking for an affordable, accurate LD condenser, Studio Projects can hang with the big boys.-Richie
