A testiment to the indomantable human spirit.

Hopefully, he'll rise above obscurity and not just as a novelty act.

He can play.

The biggest surprise is that he uses the hammer technique exclusively and never brings his prosthetic into play. I wonder why he even wears it in performance? Looks like it's in the way.

Do I even need to mention stamina? This guy has some serious finger strength.

Hats off to the guy, great player regardless of his disability

Doesn't Geddy Lee play keyboard with one hand and fret the bass with the other now and then? I could have sworn hearing that he did that back in the day.

Correct

I've seen Rush play live a few times and witnessed Geddy playing a bass line with his left hand, keyboards with his right hand while singing AND playing Taurus bass pedals with his feet.

(Insert long descending whistle here)

WOW!!!! That is incredible playing!! I would have trouble doing that with 3 or 4 arms. Incredible. I'm speechless.

Awesome.
That's even more surprising to me that he can do that on a fretless. I can't imagine how long it took to get good intonation with nothing but a hammer on style.

Truly inspiring!

Wow, that's pretty intense. If you look closely, you'll see he's got a bandana or something wrapped around the neck near the nut. I'm guessing that keeps the strings mute when they're not being fingered.

dude, no crap.

are the fretts on that thing just drawn on to help you keep your place??

That dude is "FREAKING HAPPENING"

It makes me feel like going around to my Bass players house and lobbing off his right arm!...........It might improve his playing!

That tune wasn't exactly a short little ditty either...can you imagine the burn he must be feeling in his arm  it's got to feel like jello.

I dont know about that. I think the way his amp was tweaked, he didnt have to press very hard, just be precise. Lots of volume and bass make hammering so much easier, not to take credit away from the guy, just saying.
