Once Again, Compressor Question

Ok, I've gotten the Sales Rep. end of the deal, and now I want to know what real people think of the Presonuc ACP88 and ACP22 in comparision to each other, and the RNC1773?

I used to use an ACP-8 (earlier model) a lot, and liked it a lot. Great value for the money - having 8 useable gates alone was worth the money for me. Overall a nice sounding unit that is easy to work with. I don't know if the newer version has better specs, but there are more lighted switches on it, so it looks even cooler!

Like littledog, I have an ACP-8 which I'm more than satisfied with, especially considering I bought it as NOS at near half price.

I don't regard it as being the "be all and end all" of compressors and have every intention of putting an RNC into the rack in the future.

Question you have to ask yourself is..........."Do I need 8 identical compressors, or would I be better spending money an a couple of different units".

I have tried the APC-8 and couldn`t find any use for it, however I have two RNC`s and they are used all the time.
Stop searching, there is NO competition below $1000

I think I'm gonna go with two presonus acp 22's, and two RNC's.

I do not see the point of buying the Presonus compressors, save the money and buy FMR Audio`s RNMP when it comes in a month(or two)

OT

I have a small penis.

The more lights and buttons in my rack, the larger my penis feels. If its name brand light and button, then my penis swells to epic proportions. Right now my penis is 7 feet long and 4 1/2 feet in diameter. I really don't use my penis though because it is so big I can't leave the studio, but you can come over and admire my penis, and maybe Ill let you play with it if your nice to me

Oh sorry.. I thought this was the equipment and inadequacies thread. My bad..Very bad... Sticks and stones may break my bones... but a rack of compressors excite me

That`s very true!

But a rack of Presonus compressors would act the opposite way, leaving you with what nature gave you.....
