Omnitronic?

Has anyone heard anything good or bad about omnitronic brand mics? I can get them wholesale through a friend but I thought I'd get some opinions before ordering some.

I've never heard of them before. The tube mic looks cool though. How much can you get them for?

I don't have the price list handy. I remember looking awhile ago, and I can get the stuff for 1/2-3/4 of the lowest prices on the net. The prices on the net are pretty reasonable already, so if they're good mics, it would be a sweet deal.

I think I'm going to order a few of the SM-58 clones (the M58) to try out first. If they're good I might take a shot at the tube mic and possibly the intstrument condensers.

I'll be sure to post what I find here when I do.
 
theres an instrument mic on there that looks like a regular old tom mic from a drum set, but the description claims it requires phantom power... hmm...
 
Those are condensers, it says at the top of the spec table:

no i know its just that it looks JUST like some popular tom mics, that are dynamics.
 
Ah. that is a little wierd. Maybe they get the outer plastic shell from the same korean sweatshop.
 
Wouldn't that brand name infringe on Omnitronics LLC, which is the parent company of CAD and Astatic?
