I recently purchased an M-Audio Omni Studio (Delta 66 soundcard) that came bundled with Logic Delta. My setup is as follows.
PC Pentium III – 1 GHz
256 MB RAM
40 GB HD
Windows ME 4.90.3000
Logic Delta version 4.6
M-Audio ASIO Driver version 5.12.1.10
Problem: I am trying to record midi tracks as audio in Logic Delta. I am using an Alesis Nanosynth as my sound module that I access through a MidiMan MidiSport 2X2 interface.
I have a midi track in Logic Delta trigger the Nanosynth. The audio outputs of the Nanosynth are then sent to the Omni Studio. I can record this signal just fine but the resulting audio track is out of sync with the previously recorded midi and audio tracks. Is this a latency issue? The problem seems to get worse the further you get into the track.
Are there any Omni Studio users on this forum that can recommend a particular sequencer package that they have been successful with?
Any ideas as to how to solve this problem would be greatly appreciated.
