OMG! Epiphone Commercials!!

I just saw the first commercial I have ever seen for a guitar company on TV.

It include snipets of Epiphone products and people playing them. There's an old lady banging on her apartment wall with a broomstick to get the guitar-weilding neighbors to shut the fuck up. It's awesome!

I've seen Slash trying to sell Volkswagons, and Fender amps in Chrysler commercials, but I cannot remember EVER seeing a commercial for guitars and amps before. I even remember when Ford pixeled-out the "Gibson" on Alan Jackson's J-200.

Way to go Epiphone!!!
 
I couldn't believe it either!! I'm glad somebody else caught that!!
Guitars in Target, Epiphone ads on TV - it's a brave, new world....
 
Gibson was running adds last year (Dad was grilling his daughter on who played what guitar). That was the first one I've ever seen.
 
Like the first one. The secound is more like deoderant commercial...
 
I have the sparkletop in the second one! Agreed that it's like a deodorant commercial. But it's still nice to see guitar commercials.
 
Hahaha!!! Those commercials make it look like Epiphone's will stay in tune for more than 5 minutes!!! :D

(Disclaimer: I have played on MANY, and have owned 2, every one I have played has never been able to hold tune. Those of you who have experienced otherwise, congratulations.) ;)
 
Stock Epi tuners usually do suck, but pick up some Gibsons or Grovers online and problem solved. I haven't had to tune in a couple of weeks with constant play.
 
Great, about time! Wish they would have had the balls in the 50's and 60's. :cool:
