can any1 tell me how to get the old time radio sound i want to use it on a drum section im close but theres still somthing missing any1 got any tips

well, you probably tried this, but generally the easiest way to fake that sound is to moderately roll off the high and low end on a EQ. I believe the old time radio sound was from mostly mid-range.

Cut anything below 125hz and above 8khz and see if that works.

Also you might want to record the sound of a room by itself and mix it together with your vocals.

Try a RF or FM modulator-->old TV/radio-->mic-->back to console. Those modulators are about $30 at Radio Shack.

Try sending the tracks (in mono) to a small speaker and re-recording it. Similar in approach to the EQ thing, but you can get a bit of distortion from the speaker too.
