Old Song New Mix. Hows this one?

I liked the singing - nice voice. The double tracking of them could be a bit tighter in a couple of spots. I'd lower one of the doubled tracks a good 6db or so. You probably wouldn't have to worry about the tightness if you did that.

I'd like to hear the snare popping out more.

The vocals are much dryer than the other tracks so they really stick out and sound a bit odd.

The distorted guitar is lacking a little grit and detail. Sounds a bit muffled and fuzzy.

I'm not hearing a bass. The mix needs a low end.
 
The mix is somewhat centered...not much separation (except for the hard panned leads which throw the whole mix for a loop :D.
The drums are hiding in the back, and could use some more volume. The writing, performance are great it's a great tune - sort of Illinois rock and roll.
