mandocaster non compos mentis Jul 27, 2005 #3 It looks like a ham radio mic. It is not apt to have a very wide or flat frequency response. That being said, collecting old wierd mics is fun. Personally I wouldn't spend money on it with any expectation that it would make a useful studio tool.
