yeah I read the FAQ but didnt find an answer.. :) anyway..my grandpa gave me an old Small Diaphram "stereo" Condenser Mic,well its ends are split with 1/4th inch jacks ..i didnt do this to it, it was made like this..anyway,ones left and ones right..i have a
Delta 44 and would it hurt it if i plugged it into inputs 1 and 2? would it damage anything......I thought I read something a while back that said it would..just making sure so i dont screw it up!

Thanks in advance!

Nope, won't work. You need a preamp between the mic and the Delta 44. With a preamp it should work fine. BTW, you need a 2 channel preamp to use both sides of the mic.

Yep, scroll down a little and read my post on the "Does a Tube Mic NEED a pre-amp??" thread.

Wait, on second thought, you'll need to spend $49 and get this since you have a stereo mic.

Wait a second,

That's condenser, and it has 1/4" jack. I assume that it is battery powered (electret?)? In order to work with this Behringer mixer you will need to change the jack to two 3 pin XLRs. If it has output transformer you can make it balanced, if not, connect pin 1 and 3 on XLR for unbalanced output. Then use well shielded cables, so it won't pick up noise.
