I know that this should probable have been posted in the cakewalk group but i noticed that not very many people view that more specific catagories so you'll have to excuse me. Any ways my question it to find out if there are any older cakewalks that function on a 233 mhz processor. any help would be great thanks -Jingleheimer-

Not sure if it's gonna work recording on a PC with so little processing speed. Why not upgrade to a better PC? You can get them quite cheap nowadays. A top of the range for under $1000 if you look around. Or you could get a good barebones PC and use the HD and RAM you have, probably need to upgrage them too though if they came with the pc.

I think you have to go back about as far as Cakewalk Pro 7 or so... but you'll be able to do very little if any reasonable audio recording with a machine that old. Not the CPU speed so much as the front-side bus speed and the drive controller speed...
