Hi All,

Just wanted to give Michael Joly some big ups. Just got my Rode NT1A returned and modded and I think I'm in love! What a difference! Great job by Oktavamods, would recommend them to anyone. Also got the Ultimate SDC Mod on my 603s but I'm waiting for my new acoustic to come in before I put it thru the stages but I'm sure it will be just as impressive.

Aside from the complete upgrade you forgot to mention the craftsmanship of the project!

My modified microphones from Michael are spectacular and one would think that they came right from the production line!!!

I agree on the NT1A but the Ultimate SDC mod looks amateurish. However, it sounds great on my acoustic when compared with the tracks I recorded pre-mod. My current acoustic is a $500 Yamaha, however, I can't wait to get my new Taylor GS7 to really hear if it picks up this fuller and more complex sound well...Should have it in about a week...will post more at that point.
