oktava mk219 ??

What's the deal with the mk219, it seems to have dropped in price a great deal (i've seen them as low as $70). This is very tempting for a condensor from a great company like oktava.

My question is this. Is this mic worth it or not???

I don't have one, so take this with a grain of salt, but there are folks here who have professed to love this mic. There were problems with the housing, which is why the 319 was made, but there are some great deals on a 219. If you're going to pick one up, I'd recommend looking on ebay, and not paying more than $50 for one. You should be able to find 'em dirt cheap.

I'd go with the 319 instead of the 219. Same capsule put into a better body. Nice mic, the 319.
