okay, I have the structure of my vocal booth up - 4 pieces of plywood joined together...

now I'm told I need to "foam" it or whatever - is this do prevent reflections or to somewhat sound proof the booth?

It's to minimize reflections inside, not sound proofing. What do you have to put on the inside?

COMMON SENSE LESSON #1

Turn on a radio. Wrap a piece of foam waffle pad around your ears and listen.

hey man, the only way I'm going to learn is by asking questions, I'm not assuming anything...

it's cool though

that's what I thought. Thanks for the confirmation.

At the moment I'm undecided what to get to put on the inside... I've heard all types of suggestions from foam off shoots to fibreglass to other things...

I'm looking for a relatively easy and inexpensive solution but will consider anything - EVRYONE, please give me your suggestions (if you don't mind) and I'll make my decision THIS WEEK then take the appropriate action - ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED!!!

By the way, I'm going to be using my vocal booth to record rap vocals 95% of the time (the other 5% would possibly be singing or other things) not that it really makes too much difference I don't think.

THANKS!!!

* awaits hopefully for helpful replies *
