True, but anyone who's thinking about getting Protools should ALWAYS check the hardware compatibility list on digidesign.com. They're picky.BlackDog said:i have one machine running on asrock and another on asus(both using amd processors). A7V600, A7N8X both should be great. just make sure your friend doesn't buy any motherboard with sis chipset if he plans to use protools hardware in future.
