I need a mixer that has at least 4 busses and 4 diect outs. i have 800-1200 to spend. Lets see what anyone can come up with :D

something nice and clean something that will provide a nice sound! just like every home-recorder wants

Seriously, what board are you using now, you may not even need a new one now you know you can use direct outs and the like?
Dont spend money for the hell of it ;)

thats cool ... a direct out for each channel

go ahead and get that one. if you don't like it, resell it to me for pennies on the dollar. it looks like a pretty solid mixer for the money.

The Mix WIZ is a nice little starter console. It has the features you need, 4 band EQ instead of the common three band in many affordable mixers, direct outs, high pass, etc...

Somehting else you may want to look for.... older Soundcraft stuff, (seriess 600, 400 etc...), Allen Heath GS series, Soundcraft Ghost, Soundtracs Topaz etc....

Those are all decent well built little desks, some of which actually offer studio features. With the Ghost and GS consoles, you will probably have to find a 16 channel version in order to stay within your budget. What you will get though, is a console designed for studio use so it would have 8 busses, as well as some sort of tape return (inline channel) arrangement. This is really handy for studio applications, but not absolutely necessary.
