Ok, I need a decent mic stand

The on stage stands are, AFAIK, about the same height as the Tama, so too tall for what you're doing.

BTW, how do you use a straight stand while playing guitar? You'd just about have to be leaning over the guitar to put many mics an optimal distance from your mouth.... :)

I really should have said this, but I don't sing. :D Sorry about that.

I'll take a picture in a couple minutes of what I got now but I just need it shorter.

Ok, here's a (crappy) picture of the kind of stand I want but shorter. Just has a mic clip on top.

I also want a tripod and not the round base.

Just get the short Tama boom. You will find uses for the boom, especially if you ever mic drums. My 10 stands are 6 tall and 4 short, both sizes get regular use.

I just record guitar and I really don't want a boom. I already have one with a boom if I ever need it. ;)

Are there any mic stands in existence to what I'm needing?

Went through just about all the ones on MusiciansFriend.com.

Edit: The reason I don't want a boom is if you look at the pic, I like to be able to put the mic right up against something if I need to, in this case, the panel.

Put the stand up higher and point the boom straight down, then adjust the length of the boom to get the height you want. :)

What I use most often on gtr are low-profile stands w/short booms similar to this:

Makes positioning very easy. I like the low profile base to be adjustable between approx a foot and two feet. The boom gives added height and allows easy angling for best positioning - especially helpful when using a stereo bar.

Some cheap booms are sticky to adjust. My favorite boom is:
