ok i am new too all of this mixing and makin your own music and stuff but what i want to do is learn how to remix some songs that i really like do they show u how do that on this site?? also do i have to buy equipment or there like a thing i can download to do it. thanks.

oh and i mean like mixing songs that i downloaded to my computer and i guess if this site shows me how to mix songs from my cds show me that too but i want to learn how to mix songs on my comp first. thanks again.

You need a phone to call up the record companies in order to buy the original multitracks, if you want to remix songs. In fact, that's not really this site is about (homeRECORDING), at least I can't help you any further. Good luck.

Lets start with a real simple question....What do YOU mean by "Remix"? Tell us what you think re-mixing is. Lets just make sure that we are all using the same terminology here before we jump on the guy. He said he was new and how many of us knew what the fuck we were saying or even what question to ask when we first started?
