OK experienced folks what else do I need

Ok I just want to record some stuff

This is what I currently have or have on the way:

2 acoustic guitars
A midi ready keyboard
DMP3
Art TPS
Tascam 244
Sonar 3 producers
FL studio 4
SoundForge 7
Acid Pro 4
Behringer Composer Pro



ok I just want to make some basic songs with gits, vocals, some kind of drum track, assorted strings, and bass.



What else do I need? I am willing to buy whatever it takes to get the results I want. My specific question is how can I make drum tracks, strings and bass loops? I dont know shit about this stuff, but I really want to learn I dont care what it takes.


I am very new to all this so feel free to dumb it down as much as possible :D

You need to get a good set of monitors........

I am uncertain about your budget so here are a few differnt price ranges.

Genelec 1031A's or 1030A's

Mackie HR-824's or HR 624's

Alesis M1 Active MKII's
