That'd be great thanks. Maybe let Jon put them on the site, he'll be needing new sound clips. If you're gonna let us hear it, obviously make sure it's a raw version.
Right. I don't know that I'll get drum samples very soon, but I can post some acoustic guitar samples (they will be very raw, probably with computer and a/c hum in the background). I'll try to get drum samples whenever I can.

I think part of the problem is how my drums are tuned, but not all of it. There's definitely some information there. The low tom is kinda flappy, but the others aren't really at all. I do need to retune them a bit, though. I just fixed them so they stopped making my snare rattle, but now they sound a little odd...

I just got the mics today. I did a quick and dirty recording of my acoustic guitar between classes, so I didn't bother keeping it, but so far I like what I hear. Very good detail and a very accurate representation of my guitar. I haven't played with any of the little switches yet, either... Anyway, I'll try to get a decent recording done sometime in the next couple of days. I might get a chance to do some drums on Monday, too, in case anyone is still interested in sampling the mics.

I understand that PSSL will be getting another shipment of the MCA SP1 mics this month. I don't know much about them but from what I've read they're touted as decent mics for the price.

I'd love to hear a sample of both acoustic guitar and overheads.

The Studio Projects B1's are nice, quiet, don't cost too much, and function beautifully as overheads. They may still release them with a colored dot on the box -- get two with the same color (not matched, but somewhat close).
