Hello everyone, and as John says, cheers. I like that. Cheers! I would like to post the second installment of my future"home studio?" saga. I just returned from 2 trips. One from the state of Oregon, and one from LA. I went to Oregon to find my final home/commercial building(s), for our printing/bindery business/my wifes "shabbychic" ebay business, my specialty fabrication shop, and of course, my studio. Made a trip from Sacramento, Ca to Los Angeles, and back in 24 hrs to pickup my second MSR-16. Tomorrow I leave again, for Roseburg Oregon to put in an offer on what I described above. The property is completely commercial. With an old home,(it has 3 apartments in it now) a seperate 3 car garage(Roof burned), 2 city lots, with the house on one, and a cool, old 1200sf. commercial storefront/building on the other, with a 1200sf. apartment over it, on a total commercial block, in old downtown Roseburg. Its not what I originally had in mind, but for what we need, this has more bang for the buck. If I succeed in this offer, my studio plans will change. As there are LOTSA old concrete BIG buildings on the same block. Cheap. In the meantime I am going to do what everyone does here. ASK QUESTIONS!!!. And lots of them. Heres the first one. Can someone enlighten me about the vBcode controls and the attatch file field/browse button, and how to use them correctly? And then I will get my drawings into a format to display here, although my BID submittal documents will be in CAD. Or if you wish, maybe I will just post the .dwg file as another member did. That way you can have the file to convert, or use in autocad. That is if you don't mind old farts to join in this forum, cause I admit it, I am one. And I show it. But I never heard of any law saying "OLD FARTS CANNOT BE INVOLVED AND SHARE IN THE KNOWLEDGE AND INTEREST OF BUILDING A HOME STUDIO"! But by the sound of some of the remarks on other forums, you would think that experience, knowledge and other attributes of age, are something to belittle, poke fun at, and generaly used as the brunt of a joke. I hope that isn't the case here. So till next installment.
G'day!
