Oddly, My eyes are open. And I have no doubt, that at some point the USA would be attacked again. And if given a chance, Hussein would be more than glad to do it. And before anyone starts to think I'm a huge fan of Bush, I'm a liberal tye dyed tree hugger. But, that in no way keeps me from seeing what the truth is. And it in no way prevents me from supporting our troops. Oh yeah, I love my country very much as well, it's not perfect, but to me, it's a whole lot better than the other choices.
Like I said, if anyone wishes to discuss this further, let's do it off board.
In real Fostex news, I've started recording another song, the demo is done, I'll probabaly start the final recording of it within the next week, but I think I'll have to get a tremolo harmonica to finish it....

I am gonna say this once and keep it simple for you:

Once upon a time there was this thing called the UN which stands for United Nations.

12 years ago the Mr Saddam Hussain agreed to follow UN regulations and disarm the weopons of mass destruction in IRAQ.
He hasnt't.

Now consider this:

Remember the time Hitler (do you know who Hitler was?) Started breaking the Treaty of Versailles (do you know what that is?) While the world assumed that we can "sit down and talk about this with him, he must be a reasonable guy." Remeber what happened when we left this guy alone for two long?

Saddam has also murdered his own innocent citizens horribly through the use of CHemical WEOPONS.

And here I was thinking Hussein preferred the BOSS BR-532.

If anyone seriously believes that Hussein is honorable and can be reasoned with, I have some oceanfront property in Idaho I would be happy to sell you.

Hussein has not only been thumbing his nose at the UN for the past 12 years, he has also been very cozy with the Hamas who are terrorizing Israel and Osama bin Ladin.

It is interesting that the peaceniks/UN indiots have been looking the other way while Hussein has been carrying on the genocide of the Kurdish people in northern Iraq, having killed, to date, almost 500,000 Kurds. When only about 2000 serbs were killed, the UN thought that was sufficient cause to interfere with the internal affairs of Bosnia.

Why doesn't the UN care about the Kurds Hussein has been slaughtering?

You've insulted my patriotism and intelligence by slamming our country and then inferring that I base my conclusions on media as opposed to unbiased international historical fact!

If you are going to make a statement this strong, especially at such an emotional time in every American's life, be prepared to back it up, boy. If not, you should just crawl back under your little rock of ignorance. ( Ya, you can take your MR-8 with you........if you can fit it up your ass. )

When I wrote my first post on this subject, it wasn't to intimidate people of USA. I just wanted to see if the musicians (and artist!!)on this forum agree with the attack of Iraq. You Know, here, in Quebec, we have the impression that everybody in USA agree with the president.

And I have a part of the answer !!!

Obviously this thread is far off the intention of this forum, and we do not need to flame people.

However, I believe there are certain inconsistencies in your initial post in this thread, which reflect a rather naive view of the situation.

Certainly no sane person desires war. William T. Sherman expressed the thought best when he said almost 150 years ago, "War is Hell." And I believe our government when it states that it is using all available means to limit civilian casualties. But I have a question for you, How great was your sense of moral outrage when a handful of demonically inspired al-Qaeda terrorists butchered 3000+ non-combatants in the WTC and on board the hijacked airplanes on 9/11/2001? I don't think the people in the United States owe an apology to anyone for protecting our own from terrorists, regardless of where they are hiding. Until and unless you are willing to tell the Moslems who prey on innocent victims how evil they are, you have no business telling people in the US how immoral you believe them to be. Except that calling a Moslem evil rebuking them can result in your death, while criticizing the US is easy because the worst that will happen here is you will be told to stick it in your ear.
