I have a midi track on one of my songs that just plays a long constant chord. The chord is just A played at 3 different octaves (C0, C1, C2) so that it sounds full and lies underneath other parts of the music. I'm using NI Bandstand as the output to play some strings with it. I've created the midi clip by hand by just drawing 3 long, continuous notes in the key editor, the clip is 16 bars long at 105bpm. Upon playback it appears to be playing fine, a constant sustained chord like I want, until about the 9th or 10th bar into the clip where it just stops playing even though there is still midi data. It's like it just runs out and i'm not sure why, because the key editor is set for one long continuous note. Any ideas why it might do this? Is there a time limit on how long one specific note can be held? Any ideas??
