Funny- in an arranging/editing session in CEP 2, I lost volume from a block of wav file. It was a copy of another block that I turned into a loop.

In the same track, another bit from the same original still has sound- and no matter what I do, that one silent file remains silent. Dunno.

Also, my envelopes are leaving the borders of my blocks! Could this be due to the use of a wireless mouse?

Any reasonable offering will be cheerfully noted! Thanks.

I had some serious weirdness going on in some of my sessions because I wasn't careful enough when I was saving tracks. I thought that Cool Edit would use the default setting for anything that was saved as a wav file, but when I checked, I found out that Cool was saving wav files of all sorts and types, and *that* was causing the weirdness. Check all the tracks in the session(s) you're having trouble with. Are they all the same sort of wav file?

Well there's a good point,...

There may be a difference in sample rates or bit-depth between some of them- that's a good thing to go check out. Thanks, Dobro.
