Icystorm made this observation in an earlier post:
Upfiddler used to run monthly challenges, but he's been busy and we haven't had any for a while.
Joseph has now issued a challenge, i.e. "any takers?"
So I take up the glove.
The challenge will be run much the same way as Upfiddler ran them.
The challenge is:
1 Between now and the end of October . . . To come up with a set of lyrics dwelling on the theme of 'emptiness'. I've chosen this theme because of this thread here:https://homerecording.com/bbs/showthread.php?t=290811 and its main idea of not being able to find things to write about.
2 Between now and the end of November . . . To record a song with those lyrics and post it here.
At the end of October, I'll gather all the posted lyrics into a single thread, and then invite comments, observations and suggestions from participants and others interested enough to do so. But please don't post comments until then.
If you are brave enough, you can create a thread for your lyrics and describe your thoughts and ideas as you develop the lyrics along the way, the way some did for earlier challenges.
If participants of earlier challenges think of something I've left out, please let me know.
Perhaps we need a challenge to get us all going! Any takers?
