Wasn't sure where to put this...

Does anyone know of any ocean sounds that I can download for free? I just need one for the background to a song. It'd be nice to have a pretty long sample so I don't have to keep looping it over and over and have it sound unnatural.

I don't care if they're WAV/MP3, either one will work.

Or if you know of a good site with free samples like this that I can search through, that'd be cool.

Thanks for any help. :)

If that doesn't work out for you, you could always record the audio from a Corona beer TV commercial. :D

Thanks for the link, I was there earlier when I was searching with my browser. ;)

I finally found the site I was looking for though with long WAV samples.

Here's the link if anyone wants it.

Hey danny.guitar I actually just got done messing with ocean sounds. Another way to do it is through midi, a lot of soundcards have presets for ocean waves/ and birds. So you can play ocean waves and birds at different notes. It's a cool way to have control over the timing and volume of the sounds to go better with the flow of the song. Not sure how it turned out, but I just posted the song in the mp3 clinic if you want to hear. That links pretty sweet though

You guys mean you can't hear them live from your bedroom window? I mean, just hang a mic out the window and press record. :)
