OCD Room Treatment

I worked on building some more panels today, this will get me to a total of 4 boxes of rigid fiberglass in the studio. I think that will pretty much do it, the mix position was already quite good, but I wanted to be able to address a few places walking around the room with a portable V-fold absorber.

The biggest problem I have is labor. With the current political environment, it has gotten harder and harder to find immigrant labor. So I have resorted to hiring monkeys:
 
Once the monkey finished building the frames, I stuffed them. Still need to put some crossbraces in, and wrap with fabric, then install hinges. Each side is 4" thick:
 
Here's the OCD part: I had these six panel doors, and . . . well . . . it's only 1" insulation, but it looks pretty :o
 
Four months later, it's done :) Again, monkey labor. I don't recommend it, they work very slowly. The monkey was helping again today, but I failed to get a picture. But here's the finished product:

You talked about the mix position...I put 2 2'X4' 8" (clouds)... "night and day", try it!!!

It is a good idea! My ceiling has an 8' x 8' cloud, ceiling tile with 4" rigid fiberglass above, edges wrapped in fabric which does nothing but looks nice. I also had lighting installed in it.

My doors are silly. There is not even a full 2' x 4' panel, 7/8" thick on them. Looks nice though :o
