I remember listening to the song before but don't remember specifics. This is the perfect sound for this song. Good stuff. BTW who is kcearl? Is it a cave thing or something real? I don't go to the cave often enough to be in the know of this stuff.

thanks dodge..I could keep tinkering away with this..its one of those songs that'll never completely satisfy me I think..at 3 1/2 mins I just want it to make a quick impact then disappear yet it seems the hardest to build any tension or energy in... though its 1000 times better than the first mix..

my initials are KC and I am the Earl of Finchley..hence KCEarl ;)

the names Keith...glad to meet you

and thanks for listening and your comments mate :)

Love it Keith!
Are the guitars from your synth too? They fit pretty well. Song's getting better every time. That snare's a killer, it really rocks the tune. Nice work!
An' ye're no a faggot.....:D

Joey :):):):)

thanks Joey...the guitars are real an so is the bass generally (though its from the JV in this)..I use my outboard synths through a mixer as well so no real midi apart from the drums and the odd softsynth..I think its the best way for me to learn how to perform tighter

glad you like it mate...its grown on me :)

This is pretty cool. I think the snare sound fits the whole vibe of the tune.
My only nit is the fills on the snare, my preference would be to let the handclaps provide the variation and just let the snare pound right through the whole thing with maybe one fill in the middle and another at the end

yeh you're not the only one to mention them...maybe in the future, at the moment Im working on another clusterf*ck which will no doubt raise some comments on the drums lol

I think Im going to buy a drum machine, either a zoom t233 or a boss 770, to see if that helps me work them out a bit better..they're a bit of an afterthought at the moment

thanks for listening Bull :)
