Hey all....I have a question....I usually use Cubase SX 2 and just got Nuendo 2 and when I open an SX project in Nuendo, it will load but it says that the samplerate couldn't be set because it might be set to external sync? How do I change this setting? Thanks....Lorde

I'm curious as to what made you upgrade from SX 2 to Nuendo 2? They are the same interface and same internals......

Doesn't Nuendo 2 have a more advanced routing system? It seems like there were actually quite a few differences if I remember right.

Not since SX 2 - SX2 has completely flexibility bussing on both input and output. The biggest differences now are in the handling of video and multi-media I/O, as well as AC-3 Dolby Digital and related technologies.

Sorry Lorde. It has been along time since I have had any problems similar to what you are having. If I remember right, go into device setup and then to VST multitrack. First make sure you have the correct driver loaded, and then make sure that your sound card is still set properly. Reinstalling the program may have inadvertantly changed some of these settings.

Once again, sorry to get off topic without at least addressing your post as well. My bad:P

Not a problem....I will try it! I think I did this, but will double check? Thanks. ;)

Hey Blue Bear....Nice to hear from ya...to answer your question, I was just trying Nuendo out....My buddy had a copy, and so I did load it...It does look similar, and aside from a few other plugins, and more surround options, I was curious why such a price increase as well? I am happy with SX. :D
