Hi all.

This is my first post I am very new. Just collecting my euipment now:) I just wanted to know I like nuendo but what are the advantages to cubase over nuendo if any. Or if any differences at all? Just want to make sure I am not missing something. Like I have a hard time using DXInstrument and I have to work at getting my VSTi instruments enabled. Only got absynth to work so far:( Let me know what you guys find better about it:) Thanks for your help.

Oh I have a pent 4 1.3 ghz 256 rdram with a 2496 audiophile card and a keystation controller so soft synths are what I want to use:)

I am purchasing a mixer thoughts on that would be great and buying what others say is a good mic but really cheap? Studio Projects B1 I really don't need more ins and out I just play 1 instrument at a time. Very useful site:) thank you all for responding.

Nuendo is by far the better choice. It is more intuitive, less hardware taxing, and all arround faster learn and understand. Not to mention the quantize, cut and paste, and many other toolbox funtions in nuendo are phenominal. The price although is the question. The cheapest Ive seen nuendo was 899. cubase 399. In this case price is directly related to quality!
