Was wondering which one would be best for male/female vocal recordings and all general around uses?

These are all good mics. I would suggest, if possible, you borrow or get one of each from a supplier and try thrm out.
Keep the one you like the best.
In my personal opinion I prefer the TB-1 for most vocals with the C3 next and the NTK last. I have used all 3 in recording situations and each has a unique character of its own.
Tough call.

are their "unique" characters different enough to warrent the purchase of all three? :-D
How useful is the multi-pattern layout of the C3?
the c3 i THINK is the one i'm eyeing most ..... but I'm still unsure :_(

I'm in the same boat as you. I have a great pair if stereo sm. diaphragm mics and a Neumann TLM 103 so I don't really need anything else, but I'd sure be interested in the TB-1. Can't wait for more reviews on this baby.
