I just bought a 2488 NEO. I'm a novice, so these might be stupid questions (just a warning!). (Also, the manual is not clear and the DVD I bought separately doesn't clear up everything for me.):
1. I don't have monitor speakers; am only using headphones plugged into the front of the machine. Are there any problems doing it this way?
2. I have a couple of KORG midi synthesizers with built-in sequencers. The songs I've already created on these synths I would like to record onto CD using the 2488. How do I do this? (i.e. where do I plug my synths into on the back of the 2488; and, how do I record songs from my synths onto the 2488?);
3. I'm really confused with the effects buttons on the 2488. When I press the "single" effect button and "arm" my track, the sound doesn't change from normal at all. It's only when I also pres the "multi" button that I can hear the different effects. I'd like to be able to record vocals with just reverb - but since the "single" doesn't work, how do I do this?
thanks a lot in advance for answering these questions. I'm sure I'll have more as well.
Thanks again!!
