You know I have tons of stuff and I mean tons, been collecting for years and years and never really sold a thing.
Maybe one day when you graduate from university... I'll send ya a graduation gift!

BA (hons) Music prodcuction....

are there other options???

None that come right to mind. How far along is the university with cutting edge technology? I mean right up to date with the teachings, hardware and software with all of the other tools of the trade.

they seem pretty well equipped..

tbh, i'm not really going over to learn production (although i hope to pick up as much as i can)

it's more about getting the qualification so i can teach.

obviously that's just the backup plan.
the realistic view is that i'll take over from rick rubin or someone like that :)

:) that's what I schooled for *music teaching* with a sub in music performance and technical theater.
Once I was out I toured the world in different orchestras then into top 40 bands.
Got married have 7 children got into live music production support (to pay the bills) and then a studio.... and never looked back to teaching....just goes to show I guess.

Finally

I just had to say that when I said "I'm going to the bank!" it was in response (and I should have made it clear)...it was in response to the advice "you can take that to the bank".

I am taking the advice to the bank. I wish you knew how clear of an idea I have now as to what to stinking buy.

I thought I would get just confusing opinions, but every comment made sense to me...at my level.

thx thx thx

Is there an easy voice/pitch corrector device with it? Reaper that is.

(some of my friends can't sing! lol)

It comes bundled with a pitch correction plugin, though whether it's gonna sound as good as one of the commercial plugins that cost hundreds of dollars is gonna be anyone's guess.
I've used it for very slight corrections and had no complaints.
