oh and thanks people... here's the lyrics of both our verses, me being K-Lord
PGT
(verse 1)
so many lost minds, trying to find a better day/
pockets hertin' so we searchin' trying to find a better way/
all i can say, is i'm trying to live right/
so i pray, i can at least make it through the night/
every day, another person looses a close friend/
i just can't wait till all this drama just ends/
but in the mean time, i'ma ask god to forgive my sins/
and when i die, lord lemma fly with my peers/
between you and i, you're the only one i fear/
it's only right, that i bow down and worship you/
lord i'm sorry for all them times when i cursed at you/
i didn't have my head on str8 and simply was confused/
but i gotta thank you, for all the people you've blessed/
and for helping my mom through the times when she is stressed/
i can only guess that i'm moving in the right direction/
so i put my trust in the lord, jesus christ, man of perfection/
(chorus)
lord, these times are hard so help me please/
have mercy on ur son, he's down on his knees/
God give me wisdom and strength to deal wit this strife/
But give me only you to make it thru this life..
K-Lord Verse 2
I feel like I'm locked in a cell, with plenty of time to think/
like this world ain't enough to drive a man to the brink/
that I have to feel all the sorrow to keep this pain in sync/
to live life as a message of what your kids shouldn't be/
but after living this life, I realize what comes next/
that hell comes first, and for that reason, comes death/
so maybe it's just me, in my own state of mind/
it's like a crime to live right, so you gotta do the time/
keep your focus on the things that have meaning to you/
cause if you turn your head, you'll never know what you'll loose/
and it's real when the streets come calling your name/
if you answer the game, you'll put your life in a grave/
but on a positive note, there still signs of hope/
even when your broke and you got that 9 on your throat/
don't ever give up homie cuz this life is dope/
take it one step cuz this is beyond the life we chose/
and let em know
