Not being here enough

Sorry about not being here lately. I guess I'm such a selfish prick that when I don't supply my songs here, I won't comment on other ones either. There's no excuse for it, although I went back to school so I don't have the same amount of time at my disposal now. It's like after the school all I want to do is watch TV, and occasionally play guitar. I guess I'm in a creative low at this point. I know I have many riffs in my hard-drive. I just don't feel inspired to combine them to songs right now. I have some almost finished stuff, though. Mostly covers.

I also wish I could sing, but the house is always full after I come back from school, so I don't have the balls to sing in front of my brother & dad. And they wouldn't like it either, I suppose. It's a bummer. I also have another "excuse". I've been listening to a lot of Dream Theater now, and while some people get inspired by good music, I get kinda bummed out by the awesomeness of it all (I know this is stupid, and the feeling may go away in a while)

But... I'll try to comment on your tunes more from now on. I'll also have to finish my "almost finished" songs...

well i checked this out hoping to hear what REAL good drum sounds like..but there is no song here???!?!!?!!?

lol...so i went ahead and read this anyway...i have the whole dream theatre collection..from the crappy first singer till now...i even have one of those "session lesson"..guitar videos from john petrucci..and i tell my self....."look if all i had to do was come up with music all day everyday and NOT WORK A REG JOB..and everything else i PROBLABLY still wouldnt be this good....and then i put on any POISON c.d. and IMMEDIATLY feel better about myself...

Hey C1 - check your PM's, AND GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS. I listened to your Maiden cover awhile back (only one I could find)...you shouldn't diss your vocal chops at all. And, the fact that you picked an OLD Maiden tune to cover shows that you have taste...so get off your ass and finish some stuff so we can tell you the drums suck!

Hey CrankyOne -- No worries, man! It happens to all of us at times. I mean, where is Sab? He hasn't been on the board for awhile now (but I think he is having some computer problems...)

By the way, I did listen to part of the new one you just posted, but I couldn't stream it (hi-fi)...but I tried, oh yes, I tried...
