noob Q How to play multiple tracks at one in adobe

Hi i have Adobe Audition 3.0
Me and a couple of friends recorded some freestyle rapping on my phone. I have transferred the .mp3 file into one of the tracks in adobe. I put the instrumental of a song in the second track. How can I play the both at the same time. WHen i click play at the bottom it says it is playing but no sound comes out. but when i go into edit mode it plays just fine!!

Please help

Make sure both tracks are unmuted in the mutlitrack layout, make sure your master audio is also up and unmuted.
