non-budget version of AT3035?

I have an AT3035 that pretty much gives me the sound I want for my voice, but it's just a little shrill and kinda cheap sounding. So which Audio Technica mic has basically the same sound as the AT3035, but has a less harsh top-end and stacks better during mixing?

Since I got two AT4060's my AT3035's have been sitting in their drawer sleeping.

The AT3035 is a good mic, but the AT4060 is very nice.

What mic pre are you using with the 3035 ? I have had some really good results using it with a sebatron or the hamptone jfet and the hamptone valve
pre's.
